When does it happen? Every day at sundown, feel free to come out with your friends for some amazing instagram worthy shots, and go on a visual journey designed to entertain and inspire. The festival took inspiration from Burning Man and the Amsterdam Light Festival.

Among the signature pieces showcased at the festival are the Digital Origami Tigers from Austrailian group LAVA. Fans of the tigers can make a donation to the Wildlife Conservatory of Canada. The Toronto Light Festival has also set up an Go Fund Me page here for The Yonge Street Mission. There will be two light cannons ( high powered search lights ) at the Toronto Light Festival which will shift to move their beams of light closer and closer together. As the goal of $10,000 is reached, the beams will cross, lighting up the night in celebration!
