DineXDash - classic fun with young professionals

DineXDash - classic fun with young professionals

A night out on the town can be a little tedious sometimes, and who likes getting champagne all over their fur. Enter a grown up networking event with a great crowd - girls you can talk to, guys that have a job, and overall a common love for sharing ideas and bettering yourself through socializing with young professionals.

I first heard about DineXDash through a friend of mine who as well was getting a bit tired of the typical Toronto scene for 20 somethings. You always have those brief moments of thought, we should totally do karaoke one night, or omg we should totally go bowling. Scene two – a year later, and you’re still predrinking until 11:30 at night and debating where to go.

DineXDash has had 5 events so far with venues such as dinner at Kanji Sushi then seeing a live band at Brooklynn, brunch and a day party at The Fuel House, and now the most recent event being dinner at The Drake Hotel and yes, karaoke after at Baby Huey’s.

At the heart of it all, DineXDash was founded in order to foster a sense of community between young professionals, through unique social experiences. All the while, the event does a fantastic job of promoting local restaurants and fun destinations. The monthly two part event is a great way to meet new people, share ideas and ofcourse network! Bring your biz cards #duh The dine portion is my favorite, a prix-fixe menu and then the dash portion is always held at a nearby venue for something aux-contraire, ie. live bands, sporting activities, and surprises!

In the gallery below, you will see some of the pics from the latest DineXDash but totally “like,” the Facebook page so you can stay updated on the latest events too. Overall these events are fantastic and a great chance for you to have a conversation and meet some amazing people.
